Read on for our approach to organisations and counselling care.
At the core of Cetas approach lies a deep respect for individual beliefs, experiences, and cultures. Clients are warmly encouraged to share and navigate their unique barriers in a non-judgmental and friendly environment. Nishie specialises in addressing various concerns such as anxiety, OCD, phobias, trauma, relationship issues, and workers' compensation rehabilitation and treatment.
Nishie’s Medicare Counselling Approach
I support people experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and other emotional concerns. Sessions are tailored to you and may include evidence-based approaches such as Interpersonal Therapy and schema-informed therapy, and skills to support emotional regulation and wellbeing.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or exhausted — my role is to help you make sense of things at a pace that feels right for you.
Sometimes things don’t work out. When this happens, I do my best to provide you alternative suitable practitioner.
All Australian psychologists are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, meeting rigorous education, training, and ethical and professional standards. With a minimum of six years of university training and supervised experience. Clinical psychologists, specifically, are adept at diagnosing mental illnesses and psychological issues and providing expert advice in clinical and compensation areas.
Nishie’s Worker’s Compensation Approach
I also work with clients who have an accepted or provisional WorkSafe Victoria or Workers’ Compensation claim for a psychological injury related to work.
Work-related mental health concerns can include anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or difficulties adjusting after a workplace incident or prolonged pressure at work. I understand that navigating the WorkSafe system can feel confusing and stressful, especially alongside the emotional impact of what you’ve been through.
At Cetas Psychology, I help you:
Make sense of the compensation scheme and requirements
Understand your symptoms and how work has affected your mental health
Develop strategies to manage distress and regain a sense of control
Prepare for and recover from stressful processes such as Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)
Work toward recovery and, where appropriate, a safe return to work
I aim to make therapy a steady, supportive space — especially when other parts of the process feel overwhelming
partnerships
When it comes to organisational and community services, the demand for additional facilitators may be required. Nishie actively collaborates with a network of highly skilled professionals and registered psychologists dedicated to delivering professional services and care.
When seeing clients in an individual counselling setting, we ensure a best clinician match.
workplace wellness approach
At Cetas Psychology, we have made it our mission to address the persistent challenges within the realms of workplace psychology. With an unwavering dedication to competence, we have identified key themes that continue to impact industries, highlighting the need for a fresh and holistic approach to wellbeing.
Our Understanding of Industry Challenges:
Holistic Workplace Wellbeing:
Occupational wellbeing experts often focus solely on the workplace, lacking comprehensive psychological practice knowledge. At Cetas, we believe in approaching well-being holistically, understanding that true resilience comes from addressing all facets of an individual's life. Our commitment is to provide robust outcomes by integrating a broader understanding of psychological health.
Integrated Wellbeing Ecosystems:
Many organisations implement psychological wellbeing programs, yet struggle to seamlessly integrate them into their overall wellbeing ecosystems. Cetas takes pride in not just offering standalone initiatives but actively mapping and maintaining them within the broader context of an organisation's wellbeing strategy. We bridge the gap between programs like peer support, working groups, and Mental Health First Aid, ensuring they contribute cohesively to a thriving workplace culture.
Cetas' Point of Difference:
Our unique proposition lies in our commitment to a modern and truly holistic approach. We don't just identify gaps; we fill them with expertise and a deep understanding of the lived experiences of individuals. Choose Cetas Psychology for innovative solutions, comprehensive strategies, and a commitment to holistic wellbeing that goes beyond the surface. Together, let's build a workplace that flourishes.
